Player Reference

RPG Skills

Every action in the survival world trains a skill. Mining, chopping, digging, farming, fishing and fighting all grant experience toward ten independent skills, each of which unlocks permanent passive bonuses at fixed level milestones. The system is free for all players and requires no purchase.

03Levelling and power

  • Each skill levels independently from 0 to 10,000. Early levels are quick and the pace gradually slows.
  • Bonuses unlock at fixed level milestones, with no random chance. Each milestone a skill passes adds one flat, guaranteed tier of its bonus.
  • Your power level is the sum of all ten skill levels. It is ranked on /skilltop, and /skills shows the next milestone for each skill.
  • Skills are trained only in the survival world while in survival mode. Activity in creative or the hub grants no experience.

04Milestone bonuses

Bonuses increase at the exact levels below; each tier is permanent once reached. The value shown is the cumulative total held at that level.

05How XP and levels work

The cost of each level rises steadily. Advancing from one level to the next costs 40 + 8 ร— (current level) XP, so the total XP required to reach level L is 4Lยฒ + 36L. Early levels pass quickly; reaching level 10,000 is a long-term goal.

06Live readouts

  • Experience bar. A bar appears at the top of the screen whenever experience is gained, showing the skill, current level and progress to the next level. It fades shortly after activity stops, and is colour-coded by skill category.
  • Sidebar panel. /skills sidebar pins a panel listing every skill level and your power level. It updates on each level-up and persists until toggled off.

07Active abilities

Four skills grant a right-click active ability โ€” a powerful, short-lived effect. Holding the matching tool and right-clicking primes the ability; it then fires on the next qualifying action. Priming is free, and the cooldown begins only once the ability fires.

Mechanics

UnlockReach level 50 in the ability's own skill.
PrimeRight-click while holding the tool. A four-second priming window opens; the cooldown is not yet spent.
TriggerWithin that window, break a matching block (Super Breaker, Giga Drill Breaker, Tree Chopper) or strike a mob (Serrated Strikes).
Duration6 seconds at level 50, increasing by 1 second every 250 levels, to a 20-second maximum.
Cooldown60 seconds, tracked independently for each ability.
Temporary enchantsSuper Breaker and Giga Drill Breaker grant Efficiency V; Serrated Strikes grants Sharpness V. The tool's original enchantment is restored the moment the ability ends.
DisableRun /skills abilities to turn priming off entirely; right-click then behaves normally.

On-screen indicators

  • Switching to an ability tool shows its status on the action bar: ready, cooling down, or not yet unlocked.
  • Activation produces a burst of enchantment particles and a countdown timer for the remaining duration.
  • Right-clicking during the cooldown reports the time remaining until the ability is ready again.

08Passives and rules

  • Green Thumb. At Herbalism level 50, harvesting a seed-bearing crop (wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroots, nether wart) automatically replants it. This is always active and requires no command.
  • Silk Touch. Breaking a block with a Silk Touch tool grants no experience, bonus drops or ability trigger, to prevent re-placing and re-breaking the same blocks for levels.
  • Immature crops. Only fully-grown crops grant Herbalism experience.
  • Survival only. Experience and bonuses apply solely in the survival world while in survival mode.
