Changelog
Updates
What's new on Leaf Host. The newest version is listed first.
v2.2
The Hub Update
August 2026
Live leaderboards in the hub, clearer gateway signs, and a fix that quietly unlocks the entire custom-enchant system for everyone.
📊 Live leaderboards in the hub
- Three boards now float over the hub plaza — Top Coins, Top Playtime and Top Voters — one on each corner sightline from the centre, so you can read all three without leaving the middle of spawn.
- They refresh automatically every ten minutes from live server data — no commands needed, just look.
🚪 Clearer gateways
- The gateway signs have been moved closer in and made twice the size, so it is obvious which portal is which from the centre of the hub.
- The walk-in trigger was widened to match, so stepping up to a sign actually takes you through.
✨ Custom enchants are actually usable now
- The 30 custom enchantments from the last update were being advertised in /help and the command menu, but a world-permission rule was silently blocking /enchants and /salvage for everyone who is not an admin. That has been fixed.
- If you tried the enchant system and got “That command can’t be used in this world” — that was this bug, not you. It works now.
- /sleep is now available too.
🎮 Playing on an older Minecraft version
- Players on older Minecraft versions were being turned away at the door with “Outdated client! Please use 26.2”. The server now translates older versions, so you can join without updating first.
👥 A clearer tab list and command menu
- The player list is now grouped by where people actually are — Survival, PvP, Creative or the Hub — and then by rank, so you can see at a glance who is where.
- The /commands menu and /help have been brought up to date: /tpacancel, /delwarp, /voicechat, /sleep and /ride are now listed, and two entries that pointed at commands you could not actually run have been corrected.
v2.1
The Enchantment Update
July 2026
A whole new layer of gear progression — 30 custom enchantments you earn by playing, not buying — plus a revamped in-game command menu and smarter mob stacking.
🍃 Custom Enchantments — 30 new enchants
- A brand-new enchant system across four rarity tiers (Common → Legendary): Vein Miner, Auto-Smelt, Telepathy, Siphon, Guardian, Blink, Quake and more — a mix of tool, combat, and armor powers designed to complement your RPG skills, not replace them.
- Everything is earned, never bought: find enchant books as rare drops while mining, fighting mobs, and fishing.
- Want a specific enchant? Salvage spare books and gear into Enchant Dust with /salvage, then craft exactly the book you want — no gambling, no paywalls.
- Apply and combine books in the vanilla anvil, then browse the full catalogue with /enchants.
📖 Revamped command menu
- The /commands menu is now a clean, clickable eight-category browser — Worlds, Homes, Economy, Skills & Enchants, PvP, Cosmetics, Utilities, and Info — so every command is easy to find.
- /help has been updated to match, including the new enchant commands.
🐑 Smarter mob stacking
- Small groups of mobs no longer merge into a stack — mobs now only stack once a real crowd of the same type gathers, so the world feels more natural while big farms stay tidy.
v2.0
The Heartwood Update
July 2026
Our biggest update yet — a brand-new minigame, a completely rebuilt PvP arena, and the move to a multi-world network with more game modes to come.
🌿 Heartwood — a brand-new minigame
- A fast, round-based territory-control minigame set on floating sky islands. Capture heart-stones, feed them to grow, and hold the most for points when the 10-minute round ends.
- Every round is a clean slate — you start on your own island and buy your gear between fights from a per-round shop.
- Jump in from the server selector — open the compass in the hub and pick Heartwood.
⚔️ Rebuilt PvP arena
- The PvP arena has been completely redesigned: floating islands over a water moat crossed by bridges, corner watchtowers, tree cover and a central colonnade.
- Same fast kit combat and Battle Points — a brand-new battleground. Jump in with /pvp.
🎮 Update your Minecraft
- The server has moved to the latest Minecraft version. Make sure your Java client is fully updated — otherwise you'll see an "outdated server" message when you try to connect.
v1.4.1
Warps & Item Values
July 2026
Set your own personal warps and share them with friends, and see exactly what every item is worth in coins — right on its tooltip.
🚩 Personal warps — /warps
- Set up to 5 of your own warps with /setwarp <name>, then teleport to any of them from the /warps menu.
- Choose who can use each warp: keep it private, share it with specific trusted players, or make it public for everyone.
- Browse the public warps and the ones friends have shared with you, and teleport in a click.
💰 Item values on hover
- Hover any sellable item in survival and its coin value now shows on the tooltip — per item, plus the total for the whole stack.
- Prefer a summary? Run /value (or /worth) to see everything in your inventory and its total worth at once.
- Values track the live shop prices, so they move with supply & demand and the daily market.
v1.4
The Market Update
July 2026
The economy's biggest expansion yet: a rotating daily demand market, login streak bonuses, a coin lottery, a customizable stats sidebar, farm-friendly sell prices — and yes, TNT duping is now enabled.
TNT duping enabled
- Piston TNT duplication is now switched on — build a standard TNT duper in survival and blast away.
- Perfect for big mining and clearing projects without draining your gunpowder farms.
Farm sell-price boosts
- Sell prices for farm and mob-machine outputs are up 30–100% across the board — mob drops, crops, leather & meat, iron, gold and copper, and more.
- White wool, melon slices and cactus can now be sold at /shop too.
- Spawner "Sell All" keeps its stable fixed prices — /shop simply pays more for the same drops now.
📈 Daily Demand
- Each day 2–3 shop items are in demand and sell for ×2–×3 their usual price.
- Run /demand to see today's picks, then cash in at /shop before the market rotates at midnight UTC.
🔥 Daily login streaks
- Your first join each day now pays a coin bonus that grows with your streak — 50 coins on day one, +25 per consecutive day, up to 300.
- Miss a day and the streak resets to one — see you tomorrow!
🎟 Coin lottery
- Buy tickets with /lottery buy <n> — 500 coins each, up to 20 per draw — and a winner is drawn every 6 hours.
- The winner takes 80% of the pot; the rest is burned to keep coins valuable. Offline winners are paid on their next join.
📊 Stats sidebar
- Run /sidebar for a live, fully customizable stats board — coins, today's demand, the lottery, your streak, K/D, playtime and more.
- Toggle exactly the lines you want; your layout is remembered between sessions.
v1.3.3
Ride in Style
July 2026
A brand-new Rides cosmetic — cruise the server on a Skateboard or Bike that glides along under your feet.
New cosmetic — /ride
- Run /ride to open the picker and hop on a Skateboard or a Bike — it appears under your feet, follows you as you walk, and stays perfectly level.
- Works everywhere on the server, and more ride styles are on the way.
- Purely cosmetic — no speed boost, zero gameplay advantage.
- Grab it in the web shop under Cosmetics & Fun.
MVP perk upgrade
- Rides joins MVP's "ALL cosmetics" perk — every MVP now gets /ride free, alongside the trail, pet, crown, sit emote, death effect and arrow trail.
- Already MVP? There's nothing to buy — just run /ride in-game.
v1.3.2
Your Suggestions, In-Game + a Fairness Sweep
July 2026
Two features straight from the community suggestion box — portable crafting and XP bottling — plus a deep stability and fairness pass across the whole server.
Portable crafting — /craft
- Open a crafting table anywhere in Survival with /craft (or /wb) — no more hauling one around.
- Suggested by the community in Discord #suggestions.
Bottle your XP — /bottlexp
- Run /bottlexp to open the new bottling menu: turn 1 glass bottle + 10 XP into a throwable experience bottle.
- Bank XP for enchanting later, stash it in a chest, or trade it — bottle 1 to 64 at a time (or type /bottlexp <count> directly).
- Also from #suggestions — keep the ideas coming, the best ones make it in-game!
Fairness & stability sweep
- A full audit of every plugin, the website and the Discord bot closed a batch of exploits and rare bugs before anyone could abuse them.
- Several item/coin dupe holes are gone (build-service undo, spawner selling near the coin cap, creative plot claiming races, trade edge cases and more).
- Cross-region trades no longer error on completion, and admin powers now switch off when staff status is removed.
- The Discord #minecraft-chat bridge is now moderated and rate-limited like normal chat, so spam can't be relayed into the game.
Website
- Account and store hardening: safer schematic uploads, fairer partial-delivery refunds, tighter two-factor edge cases and leaderboard anti-tampering.
v1.3.1
Build Service & Coin Exchange
June 2026
Turn your earned coins into store credits, bigger rank perks, and a brand-new build service — upload a Litematica schematic and have it built from your own materials.
Coins → store credits
- New /exchange <credits> command — convert your earned in-game coins into website store credits.
- Spend the credits in the store on ranks and cosmetics. One-way only (credits never turn back into coins).
Build service
- Upload a Litematica .litematic on the website (Account → Build Service), then run /build in-game.
- Pick your schematic, stand where you want it, and it is placed block-by-block — from YOUR own materials, inside your own creative plot, for a small coin labour fee.
- Blocks already in place are skipped, and any unused materials and fee are refunded.
Bigger rank perks
- VIP now gets 10 home slots and MVP 15 (up from 5 for everyone), and ranks skip the /rtp cooldown.
- VIP includes the trail + sit cosmetics; MVP includes all six.
- Build-service size limits — everyone 30,000 blocks, VIP 250,000, MVP unlimited.
Under the hood
- Hardened the coin→credit exchange so a dropped connection or retry can never double-count or lose coins or credits.
- A batch of stability fixes from a full code review.
v1.3
Spawners & Quality of Life
June 2026
The biggest update yet: lag-free virtual spawners you can buy and upgrade, a reorganised shop, mining and acrobatics skill upgrades, a Discord chat bridge, Creative opened to everyone, and a pile of quality-of-life features.
Virtual spawners
- Place a spawner and it produces mob drops and XP over time — with ZERO entity lag (no real mobs spawn).
- Open it to collect drops, sell them for coins, or upgrade it for more output; stack spawners onto one block for bigger production.
- Get them from the new Spawners category in /shop, or harvest a wild dungeon spawner with a Silk Touch pickaxe.
- Loads of mob types — including a Wither spawner that slowly produces nether stars.
A reorganised shop
- /shop now opens a category picker: Mob Drops, Ores & Valuables, Utility, and Spawners.
- Sell prices line up with the spawner economy, so a drop is worth the same whether you sell it at the shop or from a spawner.
Skill upgrades
- Mining's Super Breaker ability now vein-mines the whole ore vein at once (like Tree Chopper fells a whole tree).
- Acrobatics levels up noticeably faster.
- Ability cooldowns tuned, plus several fixes (Tree Chopper, Giga Drill, Green Terra).
Quality of life
- /tp now opens the teleport menu; /trade opens a player picker so you can click who to trade with.
- Your pet now follows you through teleports.
- Right-click a mob with an empty hand to see its health and grow-up timer.
- Creative is now open to EVERYONE — no longer a VIP-only world.
Discord chat bridge
- In-game chat now appears in Discord's #minecraft-chat — and messages there show up in-game. Chat with the server from your phone.
Also new
- Cycle an un-traded villager's offers right from its trade screen.
- Litematica schematic sharing for builders.
- Entity stacking to keep the server smooth, and a couple of players sleeping now skips the night.
- Plus an anticheat, an in-game admin menu, and economy + anti-dupe balance fixes.
v1.2.1
Trading, Menus & the Pit
June 2026
A big quality-of-life update: trade items safely with other players, handy in-game menus for teleporting and your skills, automatic inventory tweaks, and a major upgrade to the PvP arena.
Secure player trading
- Trade items with another player using /trade <player> — they accept and a trade window opens for both of you.
- Add items to your side and see exactly what they're offering; the swap only happens once you BOTH confirm.
- Completely safe — if either of you cancels, closes the window or disconnects, all items are returned.
The PvP Pit
- The arena got a big upgrade — earn XP and level up your PvP profile as you fight.
- Build kill streaks (assists count too) and claim bounties placed on high-streak players.
- Choose a perks loadout, and visit the in-arena NPCs to upgrade perks and shop.
- A bigger, redesigned map that you drop into from a central platform.
New in-game menus
- A teleport menu — /tpmenu (or /tps): your homes, random teleport, /back, teleport requests and world warps in one place.
- Your homes are now a menu — /home or /homes: click to teleport, set a new home, or delete one.
- The /skills menu now shows each skill's special ability and how to use it.
Inventory Tweaks
- Sort any chest or your inventory with /sort.
- Auto-refill: when your held stack runs out, it's topped up from the rest of your inventory.
- Auto tool-replace: when a tool breaks, another of the same kind is equipped automatically.
- Customise it all in /invtweaks — including how you trigger sorting (double-click, the drop key Q, or the swap key F).
Fair play
- Added a server-side anticheat to keep PvP and survival fair for everyone.
v1.2
Crossplay & the PvP Arena
June 2026
Leaf Host is now playable on Bedrock — join from your phone, console or Windows 10 right alongside Java players — plus a brand-new free-for-all PvP arena.
Bedrock crossplay
- Join from Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (mobile, console, Windows 10) at bedrock.leaf-host.org, port 19132 — no Java account required.
- Bedrock and Java players share the same worlds, economy, ranks and shop.
- Your website account, shop deliveries and votes all work with your Bedrock name.
PvP Arena
- A new free-for-all kit arena — jump straight in with /pvp.
- Choose a kit (Warrior, Archer, Tank, or unlock Berserker), fight, and climb the leaderboard.
- Earn Battle Points from kills, streaks and arena time, then spend them in the in-arena shop.
v1.1
The Coin Economy
June 2026
A brand-new in-game economy — earn coins by playing, trade with other players at the auction house, and spend them at the server shop.
Coins
- Earn coins just by playing: mining ores, defeating hostile mobs, and active playtime (survival world only).
- Check your balance with /balance, see the richest players with /baltop, and send coins to friends with /pay.
- Coins are earned in-game only and can never be bought — survival stays fair for everyone.
Auction House
- Buy and sell items with other players at the new auction house — open it with /ah.
- List the item in your hand with /ah sell <price> or the in-menu Sell button, and manage or cancel your own listings with /ah cancel.
- Items you sell or that expire are kept safe in your mailbox — collect them any time with /ah collect.
Server Shop
- A new /shop where the server buys and sells a curated set of items for coins, giving the currency a stable, guaranteed value.
